I've read this and other recent posts about changing username. They all end with some version of "it can't be done, quit asking." However, under the TOS it states:
3. Your nickname must not refer to acts of violence or persons, organizations or events related to criminal acts, and should not affect the right of individuals or legal entities. Your nickname may be amended at any time without notice.
Doesn't this imply that someone does have the power to change it?

Yes, Xavier has the possibility to change it via the database, but that's only in extraordinary cases. If you dislike the name you chose, think about it longer next time you have to create an account somewhere.
