Hi everyone. I haven't posted on this site for a while, coin collecting has taken a bit of a back seat to the rest of life. I'm posting now because a friend of mine has a teen that's getting into collecting and has decided on collecting Australian $1 coins. I was wondering if anyone has any spare coins they are willing to part with for a decent price to help out a young collector.

The ones he needs are:

Standard coin: 1992, 1994, 1995, 1998, 2000, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 (all)

Commemoratives: 1996 Henry Parkes, 2001 federation centenary, 2001 year of volunteers, 2003 volunteers, 2009 Age pension centenary, 2010 girl guides, 2011 CHOGM, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 ANZAC centenary, 2016 decimal currency 50th anniversary

I don't think he's overly worried about condition.
What? Me Worry
As a teen myself, I'm glad to see other young collectors around :) I have some Australian coins lying around at home that I have yet to catalogue. I will let you know if I were to find any of the coins listed above.
Thanks, I appreciate it.

You won't find a standard MOR 1992 coin. Only 2 are known to exist.

On the above coin page there is information about the 1992 coin and a picture of one.
Apparently a member on Numista owns one of them.

I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.

would love to help in return for the help you gave me in the past, but all of I have is a bunch of 50c and $2 coins..

Yes he's a kiwi, down here in Dunedin. I'm sure he would be pleased with anything that would advance his collection.

Thanks for that, the mintage he has on the spreadsheet he sent me was 8,000 so I'm guessing he's looking at the one from the set.

Don't worry about it, I'm just casually asking around to try and help him out, no biggie if you don't have anything.

Thought I had a few more

Still can give for nothing 2 coins

1993 Landcare - EF/AU
1995 Mob of roos - VF

If you message me his address, I will send them off to him.

I have quite a few $2 if he wants those as well, including a coloured coin I could spare!

You're a gent as always. But no, I don't really need any USA coins at the moment. I'm just looking for the Aussie dollars for my friend's 14 year old.
