I was building a sheet of countries I need and I noticed that some countries don’t have a dedicated referee. So can anyone give me a list of countries coins and banknotes that don’t have a referee? Because as soon as the COVID pandemic has subsided and my future career planned I would like to become a catalog referee for one of those countries.
Thanks
M
Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
I would suggest you first focus on becoming a 'stable' member of the community before taking on a task like that. I read a lot of ifs en whens in your posts and you obviously are aware about the commotion you 'caused' by flooding the forum with your overenthusiastic posts. Don't get me wrong, in time, I have no doubt you could be a good referee, but at this moment, I think you're a bit of a loose cannon

I’ve only been a member for over a year but I’m still getting used to the forum and I apologise for Bombarding the forum which divided us (for and against my posts) and causing a stir up.
I decide to take a small break from creating new topics and only answering questions but now I feel better so I posted this I was thinking of this for the future when my career has been planned not for now but like a 1 or 2 from now.
Thanks for telling me in a polite manner I accept what I did wrong.

Shoot, I'd vote for you WorldWide
after going back and reading your articles, you are very coin knowledgeable. I detected no inflection at all.
If the country has no one, then go for it, have no idea how you would go forward though.

I read on your profile: "I am a amateur collector only been collecting coins and banknotes on and off since 2012. But since late 2019 early 2020 I’ve got into collecting coins and notes". Do you think that's a solid base to already be a referee?

Hi Essor Prof
I was just thinking about it because like I said above I was considering to become one when this pandemic is over and when I’ve finished studying in college.
What I meant in my profile is that I got more interested into coin collecting in late 2019 early 2020 but before that I used to save certain coins but not get really interested in the hobby just that I personally liked them.
Finally what I meant by amateur is that I don’t buy expensive, rare and precious metal coins but I can identify 80% of the current coins in circulation today without using a book or any tools to help the only coin that I struggled to identify was the Chinese 1 cash coin I have.

Hello everyone, considering how some themes are working lately in Numista, that we are seeing some delay in implementing improvements and accepting or rejecting modifications request (and this is not a criticism of this magnificent website), anyone who wants to spend time and effort to help improve the catalog, you have my full support. Many times the lack of experience can be made up with effort and dedication.
I myself have thought about being able to present myself as a referee candidate, but my English is a little poor to be able to dedicate myself to this (as you can see in this post reply

I agree with you, You should become a referee and about the delay on modifications to the catalog I’ve added quite a few things to the catalog from edge pictures, main photos, extra dates to completely new coins and notes to the catalog. It depends who manages the country because I’ve had responses as quick as 5 minutes to as long as nearly 2 months of course I understand that they have other priorities such as work and family circumstances.
