I google searched a dollar tokens ,this forum is about the only place with any info that I can find, it says
1984 25,000. 1984 220Struck in .999 silver. 1984 2Struck in 24K gold
so I assume 25,000 made steel , 220 in silver and
2 in pure gold or are the silver and gold plated
"Struck in .999 silver" or "Struck in 24K gold" means solid silver or solid gold (not plated). However, I can't verify someone didn't make a mistake when they wrote it. Maybe one of the members with access to the Palletier catalogue can verify it. Do you think you have one of the gold or silver ones? Measuring the weight should answer that.
