Found a 2021-D penny on the ground in a parking lot. I haven’t use cash in almost a year so I probably won’t be finding much until I break the habit of debiting everything

Nice I watch US coin hunts and they haven’t found any 2021 coins yet and most of the time I only find the coins in the last 2 months of the year.

I found a roll of 2021 Washinton crossing the Delaware quarters today quite by accident. Just needed change and got this but the strange thing is it was all 2021 except one 2020 quarter but all were shiny new.

Looking forward to adding the 2021 commemorative 2 Euros from Malta into my collection as soon as I am informed they have been released.

Not sure if any commemorative 2 Euros will be released in Cyprus or in Ireland in 2021 though.

Lucky you because just yesterday I went to my local bank to get lower denomination coins (to look for 2021 and territories coins) or the new 50 pound note but sadly there was no coins nor the 50 pound note even the teller has never seen one yet and he told me that they only get them when they’re cashed in by a customer.

Agree. Part of starting a post like this is putting in the work to update it as has been done in the other posts the OP claims to be following. If one is not willing to do that then one should step aside and let others who are willing to maintain this yearly tradition do it.

Funny story, a bunch of the kids around my town were going to the store (we only have one store) to exchange their old 50 toea coins for the new 2021 coins back in January. The coins took a very long time to show up in circulation, I didn't see any during 2021.

The 2021 50 Toea coin is very interesting for the following 2 reasons;

This is the first 50 Toea not to be a commemorative one.

The reverse design is the same as that of the old 1 Toea coin, which was last struck in 2004.

Yeah, all the 50 toea coins circulate even though some of them are older. This makes them the oldest PNG coins in circulation because the other old coins don't circulate.
