Could there be an option to rotate photos after they are uploaded? Best would be to able to rotate by degree, but even 90/180 would be good.

Its just easier to work on the picture before upload. You can fine tune it to the best upright angle.

I couldn't find an app that would rotate by angle without changing the size/aspect. All set now. Figured how to do it nicely in Paint3d.
