Quote: "FarisMohamed"Egypt Map is not accurate and is missing a part from it which is falsely given to Sudan, please correct it.
Morocco also has the sahara part taken from it although it is the recognized ruler of the western sahara, western sahara should be added under morroco but in a seperate ruling authority as no one else but the morrocan government currently rule this area.
Thank you.
The map of the world is not that straightforward as you would imagine it. Different countries view/show it differently. There are plenty of disputed regions in the world and if a country "rules" it, it does not necessarily mean that that land belongs to that country. If someone steals a cellphone, even though that person is in control of it and uses it, it does not mean it is his. (change the last 8 letters in the word "cellphone" to "rimea" as a real-world recent example)
I am not sure what source Numista uses as its map, I am curious myself. But as you can see below some respected agencies show it somewhat similar to the Numista map and do not really coincide with your logic.
World Trade Organization - clearly shows Halaib Triangle as Sudanese territory and clear division between Western Sahara & Morocco.
https://www.wto.org/english/res_e/statis_e/its2009_e/maps_e/its09_world_maps_e.pdf
UN - divides clearly W. Sahara & Morocco. Halaib Triangle is given to Egypt, but with dotted lines.
https://www.un.org/Depts/Cartographic/map/profile/world.pdf
US CIA - divides W. Sahara & Morocco. Halaib Triangle is shown very confusingly, as it is separated from Sudan by a straight line, coloured in the "Sudanese colour", but dotted from the Egyptian side.

And there are many more other points of view worldwide. So, it just depends on which world map guidelines Numista should follow.
