I have to 68's too, both broken off their sets. So I just had to guess where to put them since the coins in both sets are identical. Adding a new year line makes the problem only bigger.
Guys, I have made some other replies to similar posts.
All we are doing here with the early New Zealand Sets is splitting the uncirculated coin sets from the prooflike coin sets for the sets issued between 1967 to 1970. After that the New Zealand coins were always separated into BU & Proof, nothing has changed for them.
Can you tell the difference between those 2 types of coin finishes?
If they look like normal coins then I pretty much expect you have just got the uncirculated versions. (ie pink label)
