After a long undercover operation, Israel Antiquities Authority performed a raid on several illegal dealers' homes, recovering thousands of antique artefacts. Among those, hundreds of coins from Hellenistic and Roman period - some very rare - were discovered.
Hi and have a nice day.

So I'm very scared, if you would have our antiques office , so antiques are numbered for 50 years and older. So the 1970 coins are antique , in some of the states I visited, I was not allowed to take anything older than 30 years It is 1990.
Friends if you have older coins and you do not have on each proof of acquisition -live with fear , long and covert operations , authorities can make our lives uncomfortable. Statement from a neighbor - envy.
You have old coins at home ? You have a document? You do SWAP - that's when you trade?
If you meet the definition-So you're breaking the law!
If it weren't for the sad, I'd laugh -I write it with humor.

Here (Israel) "antique" is pre-1700.
Similar to collecting fossils, if you "donate" some to your local museums, don't be surprised that the best examples end up never being seen again, with the belief they have ended up in some employee's private collection. Maybe that is the destiny of some of these recovered coins. There is always someone who wants what you have when they do not have it for themselves.
