What do y'all think of this US Mint decision to bring back silver dollars from the days of yore?

(I don't like it, and would also object to cloning historical figures -- "Vote for Teddy Roosevelt in 2024" -- Not  :)
To me, its just like any other newer U.S. commemorative.
I'm happy that this actually made it through*. Restrikes like those are really neat, at least if done with updated dates (to avoid confusion with the originals).
I wonder if they would end up in the same Numista page as the originals if done to the same specifications...

IIRC, there was a problem with this series in that technically US commemoratives were limited to 2 series per year and the 2021 spots were already occupied. But in this case (again IIRC) someone managed to loophole it through that technically this wasn't actually a new commemorative but just a continuation of a pre-existing design (which, yes, hadn't been minted in nearly a century, but it was still legal tender).

*) pending signature, admittedly, which does dull the happiness a bit
I hope it will turn out better then the Japanese 1000 yen commemorative with a motive I like very much. It just looks hideous on the modern coin, the dragon looks kind of cheap as if the die was cut with a laser. Not to compare with the hand carved dies of old in my opinion.
Why not make them out of $1 worth of copper/nickel and release them into circulation? Just another useless money grab from our government.
