The Italian Mini Assegni - 1970's version of Notgeld should be listed separately, as there was hundreds of issuers issuing them throughout Italy during the severe coin shortage.

Some pretty strange denominations were put into circulation.

Hello,
just a note for me and other admins: "Italian Notgeld" is created under Italy, but hidden. It needs subsections.

Just like for the Austrian & German Notgeld notes - divided by regions, then by cities or towns, then by issuing entities.

Hello,

I have just opened Italian Notgeld for coins. If you have a coin, feel free to add it there, we will create structure later.

What about Italian Notgeld for banknotes as well?

Aidan.

I did not notice this was request for banknotes, hence the “coin” comment. It is open for both anyway. :)

Am I missing something here, as all I can see is that the mini assegni are still listed under Italy, instead of the promised sub section as per the comment in above statement.

I again see that administrators of this site are not listening to us.

Mini Assegni are still not listed as a sub section.

Yes, because nobody moved them out of Italy yet. I created the aforementioned section, then marked it as done, presuming someone will request their movement.

Do you really want us to get down on our knees and beg you to put them into a sub section as requested earlier on this very forum.

I will therefore ask you politely to get this sorted and make us collectors very happy.

No, I do not want that at all. I simply done a new issuer request. Also, as noone here pointed them out to me, I would have to presume these https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?r=Mini+assegni&ct=banknote&im1=&im2=&tbb=y&tbc=y&tbl=y&tbt=y&cat=y&ru=&ca=931&no=&v=&i=&b=&ib=&u=&a=&dg=&m=&f=&t=&t2=&mt=&g=&se=&d=&c=&wi=&sw= are the banknotes in question. Since first post claimed there are hundreds of issuers, I thought people will be more enthusiastic.

Anyway, if anyone confirms these 9 are those that should be moved, then I can do it.

Catalogue administrator

Jarcek,

That is certainly nine of them, but having a quick look through, there are many more, usually identified as local banknote.

There are many issuers under this headline with face values of 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 & 350 Lire.

Not all issuers used every face value.

Some issues had over 20 variants, but the only real change was the date, so for instance, a banknote from a certain issuer dated 20-04-1978 might have a catalogue number 1234.1, whereas the same looking banknote dated 27-04-1978 would be 1234.2

This section will take a great deal of sorting, but it has to start with the actual creation of the sub section, which I cannot see.

Once the sub section is created, individuals may themselves tell the administrators that certain banknotes need to be moved, thus doing some of the work for you.

Hi all,

there are more or less 80 Italian "Miniassegni" to move.

I started asking to remove double entries and to move trade vouchers in the correct exonumia section in order to simplify the work we are going to do.

I don't know if will be better to provide you a full list of them or to ask to move one by one… just let me know.

Best regards,

Feder

Hello
