Hi. I want to know your opinions about slabbing a low value coin. I pay £3 for this 1964 Swiss Franc made of .835 Silver and I can say the condition is brilliant. It will cost me about £20 to get it graded if I send bulk. I don't want to sell this coin very soon maybe keep it for decades if I get MS67+
Personally I do not see the meaning of grading coins with lower values, 100€ book value I would see as an absolute minimum.
Of course everyone can do as it pleases them.
Grading costs might be £20 or so at the US firms but you will have additional fees to that.
The only other grading company that I would recommend is Geni.Expert from France, there it is around 11€ per graded normal coin but again some additional fees can apply.
If you like coins, medals and tokens with ship motives follow my new instagram account with regular updates @numisnautiker
From time to time I sell some coins on Ebay make sure to follow me @apuking on Ebay.
I'm thinking to add it to my retirement fund which is build by gold and silver coins, graded MS65 and over. I stack different circulation coins made of gold and silver. I do believe in time the slab investment will be added to the value of coin. And I do want to slab it with NGC as they are more well known in the world. Who knows in 30 years time what the price of silver will be :))

I agree with "apuking," & would suggest certain minimum Book Values (BV's) to make grading worth your while. If I grade a banknote, it must be collectible, a higher grade example & have minimum BV threshold. If BV is too low I cannot justify (nor recover my expenses). My limit may be slightly lower than "apuking" for world notes but certainly 4 to 5X what it costs to grade for my CDN currency (cost to grade in Canada with BCS Banknote Certification Services is about half of PMG or Paper Money Guarantee).
