According to Gold Coin of the World there are large and small 20 and 10 yen coins. The Numista catalogue already accounts for the large and small 5, 2, and 1 yen coins but not the 20 and 10 yen coins.

Gold Coins of the world says there large 20 yen year 3 (1870) with diameter 35.5 mm and the years 9-13 (1876-80) 31.5 mm. The Numista coin catalogue says all these coins are 35.06 mm.

Gold Coins of the world says there large 10 yen year 4 (1871) has a diameter of 28.5 mm and the years 9-13 26mm. The Numista coin catalogue says all the coins have a diameter of 29.42 mm.

I have found several mistakes in Gold Coins of the World so I don't know what to believe.
The diameter values come from the JNDA catalog they have a note that because of the manufacturing (they were some of the first stamped coins the Japanese produced) diameters can differ from listed values and that 9 10 and 13 were slightly reduced but no size given.
I will check Krause for values and if they don't have any I'll use the smaller values from your source and also add the comment about size deviation.
