Anyone have any info on this coin ? Still new to this and have hit a wall ?

Most probably a temple token...do you have an image you can post?

I'll look for one tomorrow, I think you can get other gods on the back too, it's just something that I fancy and it makes sense they would have printed gods on them as they were for the people ! All I can remember is the British East India Company curved around the top then UKL 1 Anna

There are a lot of temple tokens with "East India Company" - they were used for religious purposes (offerings, souvenirs etc.) and were not coins. This practice continues in India even now

Getting one or two for my collection I have a square temple token to show yous too maybe tomorrow, I'm working 6-6 at the minute so ain't getting enough time to get on a pc :(
