Token or medal?

Hello everyone, I would like to know the criteria of Numista (and numismatist in general) to differentiate the categories of Token (Souvenir token) and Exonumia (Medals).

In the Numista catalog, for example, this "coin" is considered a Medal in the Exonumia category:

https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces42591.html

And this "coin" is considered Souvenir token in the Tokens category:

https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces133431.html

They seem similar pieces in concept, what is the criteria to classify these pieces in Numista and in general? Are they tokens or medals?
Regards, Oscar

Hello.
Recently, both pages were tokens. This is because we do not have clear criteria. But we are working on this issue.
Hi, thanks Cyrillius, yes is difficult to establish a crteria of medals/tokens, I don't have it clear...
