My first ever full date run!

Looking through my old archived coins I just found my first coin run! I was such a noob back then I thought all were unc. Show me your date runs! (The 1898 doesnt have white paint on it, AI is still learning how to crop coins)

I would show my date runs but unfortunately I made the mistake of collecting Japanese coins!
I have most of the years (1950-2020) for 1, 5 and 10 yen coins. I'll grab photos soon!

(although to be fair, they didn't mint certain coins in certain years, but it's still a struggle to fill the gaps

I have noticed this about myself as well. I am going through my whole Collection, and I have changed the condition from XF to VG on several coins!

I made the 5 pfennig GDR/DDR yesterday without noticing/on purpose but well, they are only 3 coins and quite recent

​Interesting to see that 1948 and 1950 seem to have the 'large date lettering'. According to the catalog only 1950 should have a large date, both 1948 and 1949 should be small...

I've been plodding along trying to do the impossible and get as many German coins from the 20th century.
The other month I was able to complete the Germany Federal Republic 10 Pfennig KM#108 set of circulated coins https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces850.html

By my calculations I think there are about 1407 coin variations (Years & Mint Marks) for Germany Fed Rep in the 20th Century....currently at 1062. Somehow got to get my hands on the silver 5 Deutsche Marks.....don't think my job pays well enough for that!
