Selling modern gold?

Does anybody know the best place to sell a modern gold coin at spot price? I'd prefer it not be melted. :(

(Long story short, impulses got the better of me, I bought coins, now I need to offset the buy)

- I doubt any bullion dealer will give you spot for your coin. At least I've never heard of that b/c we all pay a premium over spot. If you wish to get spot price for 1/2 oz, you need to sell it to a friend/acquaintance (who is willing to pay spot).

I doubt it will be melted, most of those guys off load coins because they get more for them that way. Have you density tested it?
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Looking for pre 1783 coins
