"View your post" link after posting doesn't work properly in threads with more than one page [solved]

I encounter this regularly: I make a comment in a thread with more than one page, proceed to "view my post" (to check if it went through), and the link tries to find my comment on page 1, which obviously doesn't work.

Of course the comment is there when I click the "Quick access to the last post" link, but it's another hoop to get through just to view the newly posted comment, and I suspect that it's not particularly obvious either.
