it is not a token. it is an ornament for the folk costume that people used during the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans and beyond. first of all on it is the year of the reign of the sultan there it says that 78 which is impossible. and also during the Ottoman Empire counterfeiting money was punishable by death so these ornaments had to have a modified design. here is my specimen of gold plated/
