To buy or not to buy? Indian coin №2 [solved]

4 posts • viewed 122 times
I recently stumbled upon this listing on eBay. It appears to be one of these (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces4851.html). Pictures are below:

I need to know if anything about this coin screams counterfeit, if the toning is a good or bad thing on this coin, and what I should be prepared to pay for it. Can any Indian coin experts please come to the rescue? Any help would be appreciated.

update: the auction has ended.

I don't see any particular reason to doubt its authenticity. In future you could ask sellers for the weight and diameter, to see if it matches the genuine coin. The surface on this one is not very attractive, and the coin is relatively common, so I think you could find a better example at a reasonable price.
