does it really exist?

hello all

have anyone ever seen a 1959 of this coin?

Hi, I will check it for you later.
...you can run,  but you can't hide...
25 cents 1959 doesn't exist in my collection.

According to my dutch catalog, 1959 was not issued for circulation.
Proof issues only exist for 1 cent, 10 cent and 2-1/2 gulden for that year.

Good find, you can ask to have that year removed. If needed I can provide a photo of the relevant pages in my catalog.
And, of course, not only some people at Numista have it, some people even add it in a swap list :)
Funny thing is the 1933 double eagle is common (according to the year percentages) because so many people add it to their collection as a joke...
I made a request to have the year 1959 removed, but because several people have it listed in their collection the referee cannot delete the year...
This happens more often and in my opinion it makes Numista less professional. A known error that can not be corrected? What now?
A referee can't but a master referee of catalog administrator can.

But before deleting the year line it's important to notify the owners. You know how you struggled when you lost a country and you didn't know which one. It's the same when you loose a coin. I know I would. We don't need to feel too much pity for those who don't care and randomly tick a box, but those who accidentally ticked the wrong box deserve to be notified.
Yes, losing something on Numista isn't fun 😁

So in time the error will be corrected I guess.
Thanks for the explanation...

Greetings to everyone 😉
