Found this uncirculated set 1968 silver dime
at a coin star on the side which some one left 😂😂😂😂😂

Awesome find! All I have been getting is spending money (though that is good too).

finds are finds, I find so much other non silver coins as well , like for the past week every day I visit the coin star and find at least a dollar in change with minimum 3 world coins.
Could you please advise? I have heard so many stories about people collecting coins from CoinStar, but I don't get how.

I know there are some CoinStar machines at some supermarkets nearby, I even used it once to dump a bunch of change that my boss gave me, but I have never seen any coins in it, on it or next to it.

Where do you check for the coins? Is it a return tray or where?

In the reject slot, there are sometimes coins that people leave behind. Not always, there are sometimes long stretches of nothing.

so there’s multiple ways how to collect from coin stars intact there is 5.

1. In the reject tray: this is where you will find most foreigne finds from around the world, most of my collection has come from coin stars

countrys I’ve gotten are
- Jamaica
- uk
- Australia
-US
- Trinidad
- Bahamas
- Israel
- euros

in Total 45 percent of my collection is from coin stars

2. in the hopper: this is where you put coins in to feed into the machine, you will mostly find pocket change of all denominations in this region inside and around the edges

3. the top of the machine, on the top you can find coins which people left ( I don’t know why ? )

4. On the floor

5. on the counter: people leave bags and world coin on the top if they don’t know what to do with them

i would suggest to search coinstars in the winter and summer. both are times when people come back from vecations and empty there pockets for cash’s

there is a coin star machine website which you can locate all the nearest machines

Walmart’s in the US are where most coinstars are and in Canada Realcanadian superstores, loblaws , Metro and food basics all host coin stars

I would suggest to have 3 coin stars you normally go to and are near you. I cheak 1 daily and for 2 years I have found many many finds.

Hope this helped 😁
yes look on the floor. A few years back found a Australia 3 pence silver , I think 1943, on the floor almost behind the coin star. There is so much still out there,
It is, what it is, or is it.
