Gepid Kingdom, 1/4 siliqua - Authentic?

Hello everyone,

I have this coin and I would like to hear someone's opinion about its authenticity. I have doubts, but I am not sure. The shape is oval, but it should be more round, the weight is higher, the diameter is smaller... I understand that coins of those ages were not stroke all identically. What are your thoughts?

Diameter: 12.1-13.8 mm
Weight: 1.25 g

And under microscope

Thank you for the feedback.
I would be very cautious of that piece. The diameter alone does not seem totally unreasonable, but the weight seems way too high--that would be a reasonable 1/2 Silqua weight.

These Siliqua pieces also tend to be brittle. With that weight and diameter, assuming the composition is correct, this piece would have to be extra thick, meaning not so brittle. Or the composition is different, which means it is definitely not authentic.

And the monogram on the reverse also looks rather strange to me... more separated and flarey than I would expect.
Thank you for your input. I appreciate it.

And it is probably too much to ask, but what do you think about this eBay seller in general? Are these coins genuine?

He has a set of a dozen very clearly real but overpriced coins on "BIN" which everyone will see, and then he auctions off a litany of fakes, which people will likely assume to be real.
Horrid.
