1 Double 1899 H Guernsey

According to Numista, the coin mentioned in the title has been struck in medal orientation:

I have just found one that was struck in coin orientation. On my scale it weighs 2.29g and the diameter is identical (18.8mm).
I have also consulted the "Krause" catalog and did not find any mention.
Can anyone confirm that the coin was also struck in coin orientation? Could it be proof?
