George Best was also famous for playing for Manchester United Football Club as well as for the Northern Irish football team.

He did have 2 things in common with me - as he was from a working class background,& he was also a Protestant.

Yes, I do have one of the Ulster Bank 5 Pounds commemorating him in my collection.

Aidan.
I visited Northern Ireland in 2011 and took this photo in Belfast .... Very interesting place to visit with huge amounts of murals on the end of buildings to see.

Not a Manchester United fan myself, where I came from they are known as Scumchester. But looking forward to playing them again after an absence of 16 years from the Premier League.

I have Fond memories of 3rd January 2010 when my team, then in the 3rd Division, knocked them, at the time Champions of the Premier League, out of the FA Cup.

Do watch Green Street (2005)
This film, I am told was very close to real life, maybe it has calmed down now.
