Swapping within same country [solved]

Hi,

Hope you will help me out in this question please.

While reading the process of shipping any coin to or out of India seems very tight. I have having coins from around 178 countries (to be honest many are 1 coin each only). I wanted to collect many more world coins (not costly ones) But i am unable buy more cheap coins since we do not have eBay or like that now here. So what i am thinking is if i can start swapping within the same country it will be helpful. So is there any setting inside numista portal where i can find people from same country who is ready to swap or (sell - if this option available).

Thanks in advance
Pramod

Yes - members can be chosen by country.
On the main page there is a complete list or everyone -
select all (which takes time to load), then there is an arrow
on the country part. Then everyone from India for example will be shown -
that is those members who have chosen to indicate their country.

The list is on the forum main page, at the end.
Currently it reads
Numista is proud to count 133033 members.
On there that last part is a link - which then shows to start with
the section 0# for names with a number or character at the start.
Then the list goes from A to Z followed by all - which is what you click on.
While that page loads, there are four headings -
Pseudo - Coins/Banknotes - Country - Subscribed
so click on Country. The list then starts with a blank space there for when
none was chosen, then lower down is Abkhazia all the way down to Zimbabwe,
then lastly more blank spaces.

:) I see you replied while I was typing all that.
Here is what the first and last of the India section looks like -
about 30% of the way down, after Iceland and before Indonesia.

The screen shows about 32 names per page, and there are over 370 pages,
so there are nearly 12,000 members from India - if my calculations are correct. :o

:) I was eagerly waiting for a reply. Since i got a quick help from you, i too replied immediately.

And you helped me with two options, someway i liked the first option because i can sort the numistatic member by rating/feedback. is there any difference between two options ? really would like to know from your experience.
Option 1

Option 2

Thanks,

Lastly, on a separate note, it would be so much easier if there were
a drop-down menu on that page to choose the country - and also limit
per page how many are shown, like on the forum these days.

I replied again before I saw your other reply.
Option 1 looks better - from the number of swaps and the seniority combined.

Exactly. Now this site is offering paid membership, people who can afford will start contributing and in turn it will help to add more features. Once i become more financially stable i will also definitely contribute. Currently it provided lot of important & helpful service at free of cost, so great the team numista.

The membership list on the main page takes too long to load and makes your computer slow. And you finally get all members from India (apparently 12,000) but only a small part of these actually make swaps.

So a much better way is to go to "Exchanges" tab and click on "Start a swap". There you can choose the country. Click on "rating" and you'll have a list with Indian's most active swappers: https://en.numista.com/echanges/index.php?o=mem&s=desc&f=inde and this is a much shorter list with only actual swappers.
