Description
Official Vatican Euro Proof coin set of 9 coins.
Contains one 50 euro gold coin designed by Chiara Principe, dedicated to the theme of war and peace: on the left, a man emptied by the horrors of conflict, smoke from explosions rising in the background, and at the bottom, a raised barbed wire seems to imprison the world; on the right, the barbed wire transforms into an incuse olive branch, while the stylized figures of a man, a little girl with a flower, and birds in the sky evoke the gift of peace. This is the first Vatican coin created entirely digitally: no plaster model, but a design created using 3D software.
