Description
Official Greek BU coin set of 8 coins. Issued in May 2005.
It is dedicated to the Temple of Apollo Epicurius.
It was designed by Iktinos, architect of the Temple of Hephaestus and the Parthenon.
The ancient writer Pausanias praises the temple for the beauty of its stones and the harmony of its construction.
