Mauzoleum w Halikarnasie lub Grobowiec Mauzolosa został umieszczony w mieście Halikarnas, Persja, obecna Turcja. Wysoki na 45 metrów, został zbudowany jako grobowiec dla Mauzolosa i jego siostry-żony Artemizji II z Carii. Był to ostatni ocalały z sześciu zniszczonych cudów świata. Został zniszczony przez kolejne trzęsienia ziemi od XII do XV wieku. Obecnie słowo mauzoleum stało się ogólnym sposobem nazywania grobowców naziemnych.

The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus or Tomb of Mausolus was placed at Halicarnassus city, Persia, actual Turkey. 45m. high, was built as tomb for Mausolus and his sister-wife Artemisia II of Caria. It was the last survivor of the six destroyed World Wonders. Was destroyed by successive earthquakes from 12th. to 15th. century. Nowadays, the word mausoleum became a generic way to name over ground tombs.
