Po prawej stronie wewnętrznej części monety znajduje się wizerunek Jego Królewskiej Wysokości Wielkiego Księcia Henryka zwróconego w prawo, a po lewej stronie wewnętrznej części monety - pionowo ustawione lata "1839" i "2014" oraz nazwa kraju emisji "LËTZEBUERG". W dolnej części wewnętrznej części monety widnieją napisy "ONOFHÄNGEGKEET" i "175 Joër". Na zewnętrznym otoku monety umieszczono 12 gwiazd Unii Europejskiej.
