Stan Jaipur był książęcym stanem Indii w latach 1128-1948. Jego centrum stanowiło miasto Jaipur. Istniało od XII wieku do niepodległości Indii w 1947 r. W różnych okresach historii było również znane jako Królestwo Jaipur, Królestwo Amber, Królestwo Dhundhar i Królestwo Kachwaha. Stan Jaipur został założony w regionie Dhundhar. Jego poprzednikiem było królestwo Dhundhar (Dausa), założone w 1093 roku przez Duleh Rai, znanego również jako Dulha Rao. Stan Jaipur był znany jako Amber od XIV wieku do 1727 roku. W tym roku zbudowano nową stolicę o nazwie Jayapura, a następnie zmieniono nazwę królestwa na Jaipur.
