Alauddin Mansur (1579-1586) was the Sultan of Aceh and his reign is noted for the consolidation of Islamic power in the region, expanding Aceh's influence through trade and military campaigns, and promoting cultural and religious development. Mansur's leadership helped establish Aceh as a prominent center of Islamic learning and commerce in Southeast Asia.

 

The coin comes in two varieties. One has a long ‘n’ in "ibn" stretching under the beginning of the name “Ahmad”. The pother variety has a short ‘n’ ending before the name Ahmad.
