Van Arsdell Classification: Trinovantian W, Coinage of Cunobeline, Expansion Period (Light Staters), Plastic Type Gold Coins.

Sills DK 563 (1 obverse, 1 reverse die): North Thames Coinage; Type: Cunobelinus; Staters: Class 6 - Plastic. The reverse inscription CVNOB continues in front of the horse. Sills combines DK 563 with DK 562 i.e. Chris Rudd's Plastic (ABC 2786) under ‘Class 6 - Plastic’, since Plastic B is in the middle of the die chain and they die link from start to finish.
