Sills DK 86 (1 obverse, 2 reverse dies): Coinage of Kent, Dubnovellaunos, Vosenos and Sam; Type: Vosenos Issues; Staters: Class 1. The plain, banded obverse is like that of the Dubnovllaunos Serpent (ABC 303). The horse is a development from that stater but with a fuller body and annulet on its shoulder. The pellet serpent motif is adapted from the double arc below the horse's front legs on the Sunburst stater (ABC 300).
