The first time a royal event was celebrated on a UK 50p coin. This coin with the Queen on horseback obverse was issued to commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee and was issued individually. The coin was also struck in copper-nickel, silver proof, silver piedfort and gold proof. Issue limit: 150.
