Maria Teresa, córka Filipa IV Hiszpańskiego, urodzona w 1638 r., poślubiła Ludwika XIV w 1660 roku. Umowa małżeńska była jednym z aspektów negocjacji pokojowych między Hiszpanią a Francją (1659/60).
