Pierwsza płaska moneta Tajlandii, którą Rama III zamierzał zastąpić kowri. Zatrudnił on Roberta Huntera, szkockiego kupca, aby wykonał monety wzorcowe. Jednak król nie zatwierdził żadnego z wzorów monet, ponieważ słoń symbolizuje monety Lanki, będąc nieodpowiednim symbolem dla monet Syjamu. Monety te nigdy nie zostały zdenominowane.
