Una jest główną postacią kobiecą w poemacie The Faerie Queene autorstwa Edmunda Spensera, jednym z najdłuższych poematów w języku angielskim, napisanym w latach 1590-1596 w nowej formie wiersza znanej jako zwrotka Senserian. Postać Uny w wierszu Spensera to w rzeczywistości królowa Elżbieta I, a postać lwa reprezentuje naród brytyjski pod opieką Elżbiety.
