Designed in 1935 by Holland native Bob Noorduyn, the C-64 Norseman was the first Canadian-built wheel/ski/float equipped bush plane. This coin honors the 50th Anniversary of the 103 Search and Rescue Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force based in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador.
