Słowo "PIEDFORT" znajduje się po lewej stronie obok zwoju.

La fraternité
La fraternité est absente de la Déclaration des droits de l'homme et du citoyen de 1789. Elle apparaît pour la première fois dans les textes en novembre 1848, puis dans les Constitutions de 1946 et 1958.
La notion renvoie à la solidarité (aides sociales, par exemple) et au "vivre ensemble" (tolérance, respect de l'autre).
La fraternité a longtemps été considérée comme une simple valeur morale contrairement aux principes de liberté et d'égalité.
Le piéfort en argent Brillant Universel sont titre est celui de la frappe courante soit 900‰
Le piéfort en argent Belle Épreuve sont au titre de 950‰
Depuis 1986, le mot “PIEFORT” apparait sur les monnaies, ici au revers, à gauche près du listel.
