cancellation of an agreed exchange [solved]

4 posts • viewed 265 times
I am at the stage now, where I am ready to post coins to my swap partner, but now discover that one of the coins I requested is not available.
It is a total accident on my partners side, as he input the availability against the wrong coin.

As accidents happen, and I hold no blame at all against him, but now wish to cancel this exchange, and probably start again.

Therefore, how do I cancel this exchange, or do I 'hide in swap monitor' it?
I'm just a collector of coins, not a slave to it, unless I am in a coin shop.

You can each go to the "Rate the swap" page and click on "NO RATING" and the both of you can explain that the swap was canceled by mutual agreement. Be very careful not to confuse the"0 star" rating with "no rating" as that will affect your rating score if accidentally clicked. The "NO RATING" will not affect your score and will complete the transaction.
harryg,
Thanks for information. Rating done as you suggested.
