I just received many coins as a gift and as I am not an expert at all I was hoping that some of you may be able to help evaluate the worth of my coin. The plastic that is enclosing the coin is a bit ripped I appologize (that’s what you see in the pictures).

It's similar to propaganda medals issued on 1848. Louis Napoleon, the future Napoleon III, was the president of the second republic from 1848 up to the coup of 2 dec 1851.
Unfortunately your medal is not signed, so I doubt it was issued on the XIXth century.
