We have something of a contradiction in our use of the term "Guilder". Despite none of the Dutch coins using this name, the title for the decimal Dutch currency (and most of the Dutch colonial currencies) is "Guilder". In contrast, the entire Demerara and Essequibo section uses "Gulden" when it should be "Guilder", as demonstrated by the contemporary banknotes:

The situation for the pre-decimal Dutch currencies is mixed, with some Gulden and some Guilder. We seem to be much more consistent with the use of Gulden among the German sections.

Can I request that the Dutch and Dutch colonial currencies are renamed Gulden to match the coins (no need to change any of the coins) and that the Demerara and Essequibo currency is renamed Guilder with the coins changed to match?

I can do that. In which countries except Demerara and Essequibo should this change be made?

I hope this list covers all the currencies that need changing to Gulden.

Batavian Republic
Kingdom of Holland
Netherlands
Curaçao (two currencies that could be merged)
Netherlands Antilles
Netherlands West Indies
Netherlands East Indies (three currencies)
New Holland (Brazil)

There are a few coins which use the wrong name but I'll try and sort those once all the currencies have been corrected and it becomes easier to find them in a search.
Thanks,
Colan

Suriname should be among.

You're absolutely right. Thanks. Have I missed any others?

The lines giving the details of the currencies (100 cents = ...) should also have changed. If they were, the changes aren't showing up yet. Should I wait for these to update in the system or can I directly request a modification?

I missed that, should be ok now.

Thanks for all the work to sort this out. However, it seems a couple of sections still need changing, namely

Netherlands Antilles › Netherlands West Indies • Dutch Republic - West Indian Guilder

Suriname • Guilder (1826-2003)

A few coins outside of these still show up when searching for "guilder" even though they contain no mention of this word. Do we just need to be patient for the system to completely update?

These two sections still need renaming to Gulden:

Netherlands Antilles › Netherlands West Indies • Dutch Republic - West Indian Guilder

Suriname • Guilder (1826-2003)

Would it be best to address this directly to the relevant referees?

It seems these last two currencies still haven't been corrected to Gulden.

Suriname • Guilder (1826-2003)

Can someone please fix these?

Thanks. Just a couple of remaining “guilder”. Both of these currencies

Indonesia › Netherlands East Indies • Gulden (decimalized, 1854-1948)

Suriname • Gulden (1826-2003)

have “guilder” in their descriptions. The first is given with the correct gulden so can be removed, the second needs replacing by gulden.

Sorry, I missed one more

Indonesia › Netherlands East Indies • Gulden (1726-1854)

which also has “guilder” in the description.
