Denarius of CMMꓷVS

Oops! I thought I was on the French site! What I'm asking is simply whether you have an explanation for the irregular legends, especially the mistakes in the spelling of the name Commodus.

It doesn't look like a fake to me, so I'm wondering whether it could be some contemporary imitation?

(Now also posted on the French site.)

Tout récemment acquis ce denier de Commode:

À première vue il me semble authentique, mais les irrégularités dans les légendes m'inquiètent, surtout l'erreur dans le nom CMMOꓷVS. S'agirait-il d'une imitation d'époque?

Hello.
In the morning I was looking for similarity on the website, http://www.wildwinds.com/.
Error writing letters ,I mean error and different sizes, cannot be just a bad bump. It seems to me that creator -he didn't know the font. I'm not familiar with the Barbarian coins produced by the Celts ( or other strains)
I saw coins from our territory replicating Greek and Roman coins -the Celts were doing it.
It is for experts on the subject.
Just a thought and have a nice evening.
Ivan
Thanks much, Mimael.

I searched through Wildwinds as well with search terms such as "retrograde D" but found nothing. Hopefully some expert on this forum will be able to guide us in the right direction?
