Could anyone help with the identification of this coin? I do not have it in my possession so I have no measurements. I was thinking of throwing a 2-3 euro bid for it. Good move?
It is from Nepal. The date on the coin is 195_ VS era (less 57 = 1893 to 1902 AD). The denomination could be 1 paisa (~5 grams) or 2 paisa (9 to 10 grams). It is from mint called b. The 1 paisa pieces were made in large numbers and were struck for the years 1950 to 1957, 1959 VE.
