That is getting to have less validity than it used to have. Anyone that's in the business of fake coins can also do rolls .. I have several UNC and aUNC Morgans, and this one (to me) looks a little off. Too sharp details, but it could possibly be an early spike of a new die. Is the weight, diameter and thickness correct .. ?
AS a footnote concerning rolls of Morgans. In July 2016, I was in Colorado Springs, CO. I visited a very prominent Jeweler/Coin Dealer and picked up some Morgans. I asked if the had any in original rolls. The sales person's grandfather spoke up and said that the last time he saw an original roll of Morgans was in the early 1950's ..

Do not argue with ignorant people .. !! They will drag you down to their level, then pulverize you with experience ...
I really don't like to judge with photos and perhaps it is the way the obverse photo is at a slight angle but I dont like what I am seeing in some of the details at the hairline over the forehead for instance. I also think the CC mintmark looks off. Weight would be a good indicator from the start. Is he a reputable dealer and have a refund policy for instance? What is the asking price? Is it too good to be true etc? Out of a roll? They only made 1,133,000 of them in 1882. There are really good fakes out there these days. Proceed with caution and good luck.
The coin looks fake to me. I usually find the CC mint-mark to be the best indicator. On real dollars the first C is always higher than the second. On your coin, not only do they appear to be the same height, but the shape looks wrong too. See following image:
