differenze moneta 2 Drachmes (new lettering) 1982-1986

Buongiorno,
Grazie in anticipo a chi vorrà e potrà rispondere.

Your pictures have an awful low pixel definition. What are the dates of your coins ?

The date is "1982" and the weight is correct.
Being in Maillechort, this coin can get different color than the standard Ochre, that still doesn't explain the difference in diameter. You might test if coins are both non-magnetic.

Quote: "Frenchlover"The coin is not magnetic. I think (sope) that by mistake a rod of different material/composition was used, at least for some coins, and the difference in thickness and circumference is due to the different expansion / shrinkage of the material after processing.
