I recently bought a lot of foreign coins which included, among other things, a 300+year old Chinese dynasty coin. I got this coin, but have not been able to identify it. Any help would be wonderful.
Quote: "KLiao"It’s a reproduction. The bottom Line says 1 dollar When it’s 20 cents. Also the 1 in dollar isn’t the official character
The bottom line says “五枚換一圓”,which means “5 peices for 1 dollar”, so still representing 20 cents. In addition, at the period of time is the time of “currency reform”, in which “Candereens” abanonded.

There are some of those fakes than don't react to magnetism.
The real silver ones are due to melting on a big scale very hard to find and really expensive.
I'm very happy with my almost "real" fake ones. They're still collectable.
