Pontus-Amisos monogram

The Amisos Ae20 illustrated below exhibits a monogram at the upper right on the reverse which does not appear to be illustrated in BMC. It would be useful to know what my colleagues' opinions are as to the monograms' lettering. As much time has passed since Wroth described the Amisos coins in BMC, have other varieties of the BMC 13,17, 40-50 coins been discovered and described elsewhere? All opinions, comments and ideas most welcome.

A description with images follows:

D.- 20mm
W.- 7.35 grams
Metal- Copper or brass

O: Head of Ares, right, w/crested helmet

R: Sword in sheath, AMI-ΣΟΥ, left & right respectively, star & crescent at upper left, remnant of monogram(unreadable) at lower left, ΙΠΡΚ (Iota,Pi,Rho,Kappa) monogram (my guess) at upper right.

Thanks numisquare for the link. It is nice to have a reference to SNG uk _0901_1164. It is a step forward.

There remains the problem of a lack of crucial reference to the monogram at the upper right in the description of the item by SNG uk. The SNG uk item was acquired in 1915 by the British Museum, according to the link description. This is long after Wroth described the BMC items 13,17,40-50 in the collection, in 1889 in which the subject item is lacking.

So what are we to make of this ? It seems that the item is now part of the BMC without an appropriate BMC item number and BMC description. Is this item described elsewhere? If I can straighten this out I will have a solid attribution. Or, maybe I am missing something obvious...which I have been known to do in the past.

Again, many thanks numisquare for your effort.
