In re-examining your coin a second time and comparing it to 1015/1161 it is apparent that a match is not warranted...I was in error. Examining all 1898 Eagles in Fauver, it appears that none match your item.
It still appears to be an American Counter. In light of the fact that it is not in Fauver, I think the value is higher, perhaps in the range of US$25-75 in spite of the detraction. I would be interested in what others might think as a valuation.
